The CSS Tweaker extension
The extension itself collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server it talks to. Every edit you make, every saved session, every setting you adjust is stored only in your own browser's local storage using the standard Chrome extension storage API. That data never leaves your device. When you uninstall the extension, that data is cleared.
The extension does not track which websites you visit. It does not read page content beyond what you point it at when you choose to inspect an element. It sends no analytics, no crash reports, and no usage data anywhere.
This website (aiuser.tools)
The website uses PostHog, a privacy-friendly analytics platform, to count page visits and measure basic events such as button clicks. This helps us understand whether the product page is working and which parts people engage with.
PostHog is configured here to avoid invasive tracking. We do not record sessions, do not fingerprint visitors, and do not build individual profiles. The data is used only in aggregate to improve the product. We do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or pass it to any third party for marketing purposes.
If you use a browser extension that blocks analytics scripts, the website will still work normally.
Payments
Payments for CSS Tweaker are processed by Stripe. When you check out, you are submitting your card details directly to Stripe's secure systems. We never see, receive, or store your card number, expiry date, or security code. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant and handles all payment security on their end.
Stripe may retain a record of your transaction in line with their own privacy policy, which you can read at stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies
We do not set any tracking or advertising cookies. PostHog may set a small, anonymous cookie to distinguish unique visits from return visits. It does not contain personal information and is not shared with other services.
Data we do not collect
To be direct about what we do not do:
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact details unless you write to us.
- We do not sell data to anyone, ever.
- We do not run retargeting or advertising pixels on this site.
- We do not share data with social media platforms.
Children
This product is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not make changes that reduce your privacy without notice.
